Argas Internship Project.

1) This area chart displays the average bid value of stocks by entry, where entries were periodically reported throughout 60 hours. The data indicates the most valuable and invaluable periods of time, helping indicate when to adjust prices if necessary.

The Context.

As an intern for a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) retail business in the Philippines, I was tasked with analyzing data from the stock market to determine when the national economy would be more likely to invest in products.

The Problem.

Struggling to find metrics that fully captured the stock market's status, I looked to the open source community for inspiration.

The Solution.

Using the Kaggle data science platform, I acquired data to analyze in the form of trade volume, shares, and proportion by industry.

The Outcome.

I was able to relay the data to the company, helping them understand the best times to adjust prices depending on the trend of the overall economy.

Image 3) This line chart presents accumulated value of all trades in a given entry. This taught me the importance of not including noise, so I excluded this from my results.
